Alright and welcome everyone to another week with your rental home finders.
I'm Edward and I’m Michael We would like to talk today about our renting aspect of our service
One Big thing that just come out of the Courier mail is 300,000 people hit by housing insecurity.
So far renting and finding a place in Brisbane is tough and it's been tough for a few years and it's getting worse all the time.
We're finding housing insecurity all over the place, the Courier mail itself ran a campaign about this issue around September last year and finally after a week of campaigning the premier called for a housing crisis summit where they talked about things.
What’s happened since then is not a lot except the situations got worse
So what we've got is people are couch surfing, people are living at mates places, they are trying to find a Air B&B's if they can get it, or resorting to serviced accommodation with our clients paying through the nose. Just to be able to turn up and look at an apartment for rent or a house for rent
At inspections you're seeing long queues OK. Agents can expect to receive a huge number of applications for a place, so the pressure is really on particularly at the lower end of the market. By lower end we are talking somewhere under $600 a week.
So if you're coming in for me to stay or overseas you need our help because we can do stuff to at least get you towards the top into the queue or the top end of the pile. Our results speak for themselves because we get our clients places to rent.
Renting in Brisbane doesn't need to be a difficult journey. If you would like to see how we may be able to help, fill in the form below or visit our Rental Agent Services or Buyers Agent Services and we will reach out for a free assessment
See you Soon
